About G.O.A.T.

Each new roofing project begins with a phone call or text, the night before, reminding and preparing our clients to ensure all the necessary preventative measures have been taken care of. Then we review the weather conditions and state the estimated time of arrival for the following morning.

Upon arrival, our project manager knocks on the door, double checks with the client to ensure we are an “All Systems Go!” and then we begin.  First, we carefully scan the premises for nearby shrubs, landscaping, lawn ornaments, pools, grills, and so on and so forth. Once the ground and any other obstacle that could be potentially damaged by falling roof debris is properly covered with tarps and boards; we place ladders and begin the tear-off stage. We keep the old roofing material carefully contained as we move debris to the specific edge, leading to the dumpster, which is strategically placed down below catching the old, damaged shingles, ridge cap, roof accessories, felt, nails, and in some cases, rotted decking.

FAQ

  • My roof leaks. Do I need to have it replaced completely?

First off, call us now to have us inspect the leak, we do not want the leak to get worse or affect other parts of your home! Back to the answer to the question… No, yet we strongly advise you to call us to schedule an appointment.  We will properly assess the situation with you and guide you through the necessary steps to prevent further damage.

  • How long can I expect my roof system to last?

That’s a loaded question! By industry standards, shingle manufacturers rate a 3-tab shingle (low grade yet cost effective) to last for 25 years. A laminated composite shingle (mid-grade, doesn’t break the bank) will last 35-40 years. Furthermore, a Slate shingle (high-grade, expensive) will last a lifetime.

There is a large variety of roofing systems with many different strengths and designs. Depending on the type of roof system you have installed will, in essence, determine the length of your roofing system’s life expectancy.

Our Texas environment has extremely high heat, open plains causing strong winds, and intense consistent hail storms each year. The strongest shingle could be ruined the next day, and the 3-tab shingle could last 25 years.

It’s all about the weather, call us to have a routine maintenance check if you aren’t sure which roofing system you have installed or if you aren’t sure of the integrity of your roof.

  • Are your services covered by my home insurance?

Insurance companies cover storm related incidents, so not everything is covered by your home insurance. We recommend you call and speak with your insurance agent if you have any questions regarding your policy. Never-the-less, we are here to help and are eager to meet with you and thoroughly inspect your roof system. We will create a personalized free inspection report, and happily inform you on the condition of your roofing system. We take pride in our integrity and are well equipped to show you our findings through photos and videos to fully explain, inform and arm you with the best knowledge so you will be able to confidently take the necessary actions.

  • When is the best time to do roofing repairs?

Prior to finding any damages. We offer a free inspection throughout the year and our goal is to take preventative measures to ensure your roofing system is strong and fully functional.
